Our prices range from $40 to $60 per day, depending on the vehicle and season.

We keep pricing simple, clear, and affordable—with no inflated fees or surprises.

To keep things fair and transparent, we use a standard fee structure common in Richmond and across Turo-style rentals:

Required Fees

Security Deposit: $100 (refundable after the vehicle is returned in good condition)

Late Return Fee: 25% of the daily rate, per day, and compounds each day the vehicle is overdue

Cleaning Fee (if returned excessively dirty): $30–$75

Smoking Fee: $150 (zero-tolerance policy)

Prepaid Fuel Option: Market pricing based on tank size

Additional Driver: $20 per day

Young Driver Fee (ages 21–24): $25 per day

Minimum rental period: 1 day

Maximum rental period: 14 days

We can assist with extensions as long as the car is available and the request is made before the return time.

Yes—these guidelines ensure safety and compliance:

Minimum age: 21

Young drivers (21–24): $25/day surcharge

Valid driver’s license required (held at least 1 year)

Clean driving history: No major violations or DUIs in the past 3 years

Security deposit and card on file required

Additional drivers must meet all the same requirements.

Yodel Mobile requires all renters to provide their own rental car insurance coverage.

This ensures every driver is fully protected under their own personal policy, which is standard for many small rental agencies and peer-to-peer rental platforms.

Before booking, renters must have one of the following:

Personal auto insurance that covers rental cars

OR commercial/business insurance that extends to rentals

Proof of coverage is required at pickup.

What we do include:

Basic Roadside Assistance for mechanical failures at no extra cost

Optional upgrades:

Roadside Assistance Plus: $7/day

Covers lockouts, jump starts, flat tires, key replacements, and fuel delivery (up to 3 gallons)

Since insurance is provided by the renter, Yodel Mobile does not offer CDW/LDW or internal coverage plans

Cars leave with at least half tank and should be returned at the same level as pick up.

If not returned at same level: fuel difference + $10 service fee applies.
